Behind the Brand: Sansom Reed
Bringing effortless style and classic individualism to every wardrobe
Sansom Reed’s story began with this stunning faux fur jacket from bl^nk.
Instantly falling in love with it at a trade fair, owner Annie could see it represented everything her new brand was about: style that’s different, accessible, fun, and that women of all shapes and sizes can feel comfortable in it. Confident it would be a big hit, she went to place an order, only to be told that everyone else was ordering it in black. Still, she didn’t hesitate, certain that cream was THE colour, and she was right. Customers just couldn’t get enough of the jacket, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Of course, Sansom Reed’s success is less about the jacket, and more about the woman behind the brand. Annie didn’t just fall into fashion, with a background in interior design and homewares, she has always had an eye for style and a passion for classic individualism. Creating clever colour ways, layering textures, and playing with patterns is what she’s all about – steadfast on her mission to offer women across the country consistently surprising finds.
Walk past her shop window in Marlow and you’ll always find something that catches the eye, from a sensational dress to standout shoes, jewellery, and pieces for the home. It’s a treasure trove for women who want clothes that reflect who they are and who they want to be, coupled with a standout styling service from Annie and her team. Sansom Reed’s reach extends further with an online store, pop ups across the country, and, of course, their annual pilgrimage to Spirit of Christmas fair. It’s here you’ll find clothing that’s not available online and, new for this year, a one-stop stocking filler shop which, true to style, is packed full of surprising finds you didn’t know you were looking for, but that you definitely need.
Meet the Sansom Reed team at stand M55 of Spirit of Christmas Fair this November to find inspiration and style for your wardrobe and home. You may also be lucky enough to get your hands on THAT jacket. Have you got your tickets yet?
