Olivia Barry
Olivia Barry is the founder and director of Livvy B – Wellbeing and Home Accessories. Mother of three teenagers - Molly 19, Freya 17 and Daisy 15 – 47 year old Livvy set up her company just 5 years ago from her home in Sussex.
Livvy B is now best known for its iconic block prints designed by teens for teens. These block prints are the hallmarks the product portfolio which started with bedding but now includes loungewear, tableware, bathroom washbags and tote bags, sold online, at events and loved by customers in the UK and USA.
Driven by her personal experience of going to boarding school at 7 and growing up with dyslexia which was often misunderstood, Livvy is passionate about supporting teenagers to overcome adversity and discover their strengths.
In 2021 she set up an innovative internship programme the Live and B : Teen Designer programme, which has supported teenagers facing a range of different challenges, including eating disorders, social anxiety, dyslexia and cancer. Tasked with designing the next season’s ‘block print’, these teenagers can get involved in driving the marketing process which brings new meaning to every item on sale.
Olivia is now planning the launch of a range of wellbeing products in 2025 based on the success of a magnesium cream which she created in 2022 and is now sought after by sports teachers, pilates instructors and cancer patients in the UK and the USA.
As a brand, Livvy B is loved by teenagers, mothers and grand parents alike and through Olivia’s Live and B : Teen Designer Programme, it’s fast becoming recognised as a beacon for renewed wellbeing, resilience and hope.
