Kirsty took on the role of Sales and Marketing Director at Wiston Winery before becoming Brand Director for the Estate in 2021.

Kirsty read history at Oxford and went straight on to a do the 12 Week Certificate Course at the Irish cookery school Balleymaloe. Set in the midst of 100 acre organic farm it sparked the beginning of a passion to grow and utilise the freshest and most delicious ingredients wherever possible. While working in the charitable sector in London, Kirsty also ran a small events catering business. In 2004 Kirsty married Richard Goring and after a year in London they moved to Canada to work on small scale organic farms largely on remote islands off the west coast. On return Kirsty worked with Higgidy Pies, at this point a relatively small start-up, doing both product development and PR and Marketing before moving to Wiston Winery.
