This Scallop shell was found on Oxwich Bay, Gower, South Wales.

The mesmerisingly beautiful, highly ribbed fan of scallop shells make them a popular collectable, if you are lucky enough to find a complete one. 

Its radial spread is reminiscent of Oxwich's expansive, tranquil bay and gentle waves.
