Limited edition pure organic honeys from the mountains

Honey Hills Stand: FD12
Limited edition pure organic honeys from the mountains
Beautifully presented rare honeys - perfect gifts!
Have you ever tried honey from the blooms of Japanese Knotweed, Wild Garlic, or Sumac?

Seeking the perfect present for a honey lover (or as a honey lover yourself!) can prove impossible when faced with the usual selection of 'runny' or 'set' honeys 'from 'EU and Non-EU sources' generally found in supermarkets. These honeys have long ago lost any distinction of having a real natural origin due heat-treatment and huge-scale mixing, even with added syrups to bulk them out and lower the price (despite what they may say on the tin).

We feel that not only has the hard work and expertise of the bees been disregarded, but the unique treasure they spend their lives collecting from their own special sources is completely ignored and simply wasted!

Not so with our beekeepers who search out remote locations for their hives and work with the bees to produce unique natural flavours of honey, as unique as vintages of the highest quality wine.

We bring you pure, certified organic honey from single hive-locations, richly flavoured by the nectar and honeydews, lovingly collected from plants only found in the immediate vicinity.

Try our dark Wild Knotweed honey, with overtones of rich muscovado treacle, vanilla pods and caramel, or our Wild Garlic honey with intense toffee sweetness and a subtle herbal glow. Our Mountain Rosebay, smooth and delicate, its sweetness tempered with a deliciously subtle floral note, and White Deadnettle, which fills the mouth with pure natural sweet succulence.

Our Sumac honey is a true adventure in taste, presenting a fully rounded sweetness which quickly develops rich lime zest and lemon notes, then unexpectedly gives way to a long elderflower finish. And our Artichoke honey, fulsome, warm and comforting, offers the indefinable softness of the artichoke in honey form.

All our hive locations are so far from farmland that there are zero traces of chemicals, and no medicines are used (or needed) to keep our happy bees in prime health. We love and respect our bees and only take their surplus honey, leaving plenty for their brood. In return, we provide safe luxury accommodation (their hive!), free transport to new locations with abundant tasty nectar, and even protection from bears (we use electric fences!).

These special honeys are all produced on a small scale and in strictly limited supply - and they aren't available from any other suppler.
